What You're Missing

If you're not in Liberty Village, you're missing this inquisitive kitty:

This curious feline lives on a smoke stack just north of the train tracks and at the south end of a Liberty Village street.

This photo doesn't do the neighbourhood justice, but Liberty Village is a bustling, creative, trendy little neighbourhood near King Street West in Toronto. It's a maze of former brick factories & industrial buildings that have been transformed into radio stations, advertising agencies, pubs, restaurants, and housing for a large percentage of Toronto's millennial population. It's also home to this over-sized tabby, which appears to be eternally thinking to itself, "I guess if you use up all 9 lives, you get put into a smoke stack".

Here at 25bikes, we love urban art. Intentional graffiti has turned this lonely, once-grey chunk of industrial nothingness into an actual art piece. And if any of the area's millennials need inspiration while they're working on their clients' SEO, they can head down to the bottom of Fraser Avenue and join good ol' Smokey in looking to the heavens for an idea to appear in the clouds.

Just a little reminder that sometimes, you don't know what you're missing.
