First, The Snow.....Then, We Work

Here in Toronto, at the home base of 25bikes Media, overnight we received more snow than we have on any previous January 29th in history. Snowfall of 26 centimetres (10 inches) means the kids still have to go to school (you can imagine how excited they were about that), but once the day got started it was business as usual for us.

But before we get to work on our clients' social media, websites and radio commercials, we must first clear the front walk so that Canada Post can still deliver our bills. The one benefit of snowdrifts nearly a foot tall is that this is a job for the snow blower. If you're forced to move snow, we highly recommend using a snow blower. Tall plumes of fluffy snow shoot from the front cannon, and then gently float down, sometimes catching a mirror of light as they descend. In that brief misty whiteout, all you see is snow. For one brief second, the adult work waiting for you inside disappears,

And if you don't point the exit chute in just the perfect direction, the snow hits the wind and blows it right back into your face.

It's almost like a Winter Wonderland.

Almost.
